Marzipan chocolate cookies (no-bake)

Marzipan chocolate cookies (no-bake)

This is a super easy, no-bake and 2-ingredient marzipan chocolate recipe. These marzipan cookies are so delicious PLUS they are egg-free and suitable for vegan food lovers too! It will take about 5 minutes to make these no-bake marzipan chocolate balls and they will be a perfect addition to any cookie platter!  The almond marzipan tastes nutty, sweet (but not too sweet) and the texture is similar to cookie dough. They look like chocolate truffles, but these marzipan balls are more nutritious and healthy than regular chocolate truffles considering they are made of almond flour.

During Christmas, Dutch supermarkets are filled with almond marzipan in all shapes and colors! I always bought the store-bought marzipan until I figured out how easy it was to make homemade marzipan. These chocolate marzipan balls are covered in a thin layer of cocoa powder, perfect to serve during Christmas holidays and look very impressive.

For this marzipan recipe you will only need cocoa powder and homemade marzipan (or store-bought). Simply make small marzipan balls, cover them with cocoa powder and you are ready to serve them and impress your guests! See the recipe below for more details.
